Jonathan Rhys Meyers (MI:III, Match Point) is being lined up to star in a big screen biopic based upon the life of Charlotte Bronte, author of classic novel 'Jane Eyre' reports IFTN.
The Irish actor will star alongside Michelle Williams as the title character, Imelda Staunton, Ben Chaplin and Brian Cox in the project scheduled to begin later this year.
Angela Workman (The War Bride) has penned the screenplay and will also direct with production scheduled to begin later this year. Rhys Meyers, currently starring alongside Tom Cruise in MI:III, has just wrapped 'August Rush'.
