Jason Bateman has joined the cast of Universal Pictures terrorism thriller "The Kingdom" reports the trades.
Jamie Foxx, Chris Cooper and Jennifer Garner have already have joined the Peter Berg-helmed film which begins shooting this Summer.
Written by Matthew Michael Carnahan, the film is set following a deadly bombing attack that targeted Americans working in a Middle Eastern country. In response, the U.S. government sends in an elite team of counterterrorism investigators to try and find those responsible.
