Warner Bros. Pictures is at work on a game version of the "Dirty Harry" franchise in collaboration with Clint Eastwood's production company.

Announcing the title at this week's E3 convention in Los Angeles, plans are to make a big thing of the launch which will coincide with a specially remastered HD DVD release of the previous five films in a box set in late 2007.

Eastwood is providing his own voice and likeness to the virtual version of Harry Callahan, the iconic character he portrayed in five movies. He will be joined in the game by Gene Hackman and Laurence Fishburne, playing Police Supervisor Al Bressler and Reverend Carlton Clay, respectively.
