Skinny white guys seem to be the flavour of the day amongst casting agents right now , you could almost call it a 'twink flood' if it weren't for the age differences.
First up the IMDb reports that John Malkovich has landed a starring role in the next Harry Potter movie, playing evil Lord Voldemort. Malkovich's two daughters convinced him to appear in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" which just began shooting. Trouble is he will have to share the part with a computerised puppet - at the beginning of the film, the wizard is supposed to be so wasted by his own evil he is barely a skeleton.
Meanwhile, if you thought the Justin Timberlake as Johnny Rotten or Colin Farrell as Ozzy Osbourne rumours were wild, wait til you hear this one. The latest issue of PopBitch indicates that Ashton Kutcher has been approached to play Tommy Lee in the movie based on Motley Crue's memoirs, "The Dirt: Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band". The band sold the rights to the film to Paramount back in 2002 where its been in development, and bassist Nikki Sixx had previously stated that his early favorite to play him in the movie was "Jackass" star Johnny Knoxville.
If true, the idea of Kutcher in the role is a bit of a stretch, after all the role of Tommy Lee requires some pretty big...umm, pants to fill and Ashton has demonstrated in underwear photos he doesn't exactly measure up to Tommy (then again not many do) in that department (the likes Jonathan Bennett or Chad Michael Murray have shown they fulfil the main requirement). A director or actual confirmed stars have yet to be announced. Kutcher is busy as hell though, and is also rumoured to be a part of the rescue swimmer drama "The Guardian" which begins shooting in August.
Thanks to 'KarlChilders' & 'John',
