So much for the June plans to release the Batsuit. The first pics of Christian Bale as Batman appeared in this weekend's issue of Entertainment Weekly. The mag released a teaser image (left pic) on Thursday night US time to promote the issue. A day later the official site posted up the rest of the pics in high quality.
Whilst the pics are quite atmospheric (Bale suits the costume better than I expected), they're more to show the shape/silhouette of the costume than anything else. One insider claims the studio is still aiming to release proper publicity studio shots and a press release of some sort in June which should give us a better look at the details of the suit front and cowl. For now, these will have to do - enjoy:
