Lovewrecked: "Media 8 Entertainment, the indie financing and production shingle that recently produced "Monster," has come aboard to produce, finance and distribute family comedy "Lovewrecked," penned by Stephen Langford. Film will begin production in June in the Caribbean, with casting expected shortly. Story concerns an 18-year-old who's ecstatic when she finds that her favorite rock star, Jason, is a guest at the tropical resort where she is working for the summer. Paramount's Slate: "Sumner Redstone said the frugal film studio Paramount Pictures has received the greenlight to start spending over $100 million in an effort to attract top projects.
