sp; movieholeBrian Van Holt ("S.W.A.T", "Basic") has joined the cast of the "House of Wax" remake in Queensland according to Moviehole. Van Holt is the sixth actor to have flown from the states for the film. Joining them from the local scene are Australian actress Emma Lung ("Ned" , "Garage Days") and Damon Herriman who is most remembered for his role in the mini-series "Brides of Christ". Chad Michael Murray, Elisha Cuthbert, Jared Padalecki, Jon Abrahams, Shannon Taylor and Paris Hilton all star in the film which is currently shooting.

Meanwhile The Hollywood Reporter indicates that Nick Stahl is joining the already overflowing cast of "Sin City" currently shooting in Austin, Texas. Stahl, who is in final negotiations to join the graphic novel-based feature, will play the dual roles of Junior and Yellow Bastard, and will segue from "Sin" to another season of "Carnivale" for HBO.

Finally, former Mr. Jen Garner and "Felicity" love interest Scott Foley is circling the FX drama "The Gentleman" being developed by feature screenwriter Sheldon Turner ("The Longest Yard"). The show follows the day-to-day life of a likable medical supplies salesman from the Midwest who happens to be fending off a penchant for murder and moves to the city to help straighten out his alcoholic younger brother at the behest of his parents. Turner says "He's the boy next door, if the boy next door was a serial killer. Charming, handsome, trying to be a good big brother, but just when you start to like the guy he does something deplorable. We sort of treat (serial killing) -- and here's where it gets controversial -- as an addiction".
