Screen International reports that "Casino Royale" has wrapped its shooting schedule in the Bahamas. The Caribbean location plays itself in the film and doubles for Madagascar where a major action scene takes place.
On April 6th the main unit returned to Prague where the famous gambling scene between Bond and villain Le Chiffre is being filmed. Shooting wraps there at the end of May in the Czech spa town Karlovy Vary, doubling as Montenegro.
Filming will then move to Venice Italy for exteriors for five days, after which it returns to Pinewood Studios in the UK where the climactic action scenes will make use of a 20-foot deep water tank on Pinewood's famous 007 stage.
According to The Young Bond Dossier, one mystery that remains is where the production is going to film a major action scene set at the Miami International Airport and the surrounding city. The sequence is one of the largest in the film and it's unlikely the entire sequence was completed during the production's limited stay in the Caribbean.
