Director's Chair: Never, Charlie, Crime

"Universal Pictures has picked up "Never Happened," from writing duo Mark Gibson and Phil Halprin, with Raja Gosnell attached to direct. "Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst will make his feature directorial debut on the $10 million, Peter Elkoff-scripted indie pic "The Education of Charlie Banks". Jesse Eisenberg ("The Squid and the Whale", "Cursed") is set to play the title role of a Vassar College student who gets an unannounced visit from the scariest kid from his old New York neighborhood. ""The Shield" executive producer Kurt Sutter will make his directorial debut on "In-Crime," a script he wrote for Warner Bros. Pictures as part of a two-picture deal. Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Antoine Fuqua are producing. The script follows an unorthodox team of police specialists whose mission is to catch major criminals in the act.
