Paul Giamatti and Chris Evans have joined the cast of Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini's bigscreen adaptation of "The Nanny Diaries" says Variety.
Pic stars Scarlett Johansson as a working-class woman from New Jersey who becomes a nanny to a wealthy Manhattan family. Donna Murphy and Laura Linney round out the cast.
Giamatti will play Mr. X, the brood's imposing patriarch, Evans ("Fantastic Four") the Park Avenue hunk who steals Johansson's heart. Filming begins in New York this month, Weinstein Co. will distribute.
