A Day With Wilbur Robinson: "Walt Disney Feature Animation, which is expected to reveal plans to close down its Orlando animation facility today, has announced a new animated film that will be produced at the company's Burbank studios. The computer-animated "A Day With Wilbur Robinson" is an adaptation of William Joyce's 1990 book, a comedy-adventure about a boy genius who creates a time machine..." (more info). Catch and Release: "Oscar-nominated scribe Susannah Grant will make her feature directorial debut on the Columbia project described only as an emotional romantic comedy centering on a woman who is forced to deal with the untimely death of her husband and the secrets he kept from her..." (more info). Horizon: "Kevin Costner is headed west again. The multi-hyphenate -- who directed, produced and starred in last summer's "Open Range" - has committed to the genre again with "Horizon." Costner will direct and star in the project, which he has set up at Beacon..." (more info). One Step Behind: "Director Paul Verhoeven has signed on to shoot his first film since "Hollow Man". Batman: Whilst most of the shooting is at Shepparton Studios in Middlesex, it has been confirmed they will be spending six days in London itself (which will double for Gotham) and apparently talk of a scene at a racetrack. Dawn of the Dead: The first test review is now up at Bloody Disgusting. Euro Trip: The one-sheet poster for the gross-out comedy is up at LatinoReview. Farscape (TV): Some more details on the shooting mini-series are up at Scape Route. Freddy vs. Jason 2: Coming Soon indicates that the sequel may go ahead with Ronny Yu directing for a 2005 release. Garfield: The CG cat comedy looks to be delayed a week to June 25th 2004. La Victoria: Benicio Del Toro is tipped to star in this flick about the famously tough Dominican Republic prison. The lead role is being played by Paco Luque, and it'll be directed by Jose Enrique Pintor according to lashorasperdidas. Seed of Chucky: Alex Vincent (Andy in the first two "Child's Play" films) indicated to Bloody Disgusting that he recently talked with Don Mancini about reprising his role in the next film. Short Circuit 3: Seems that No. 5 is still alive and didn't die of a computer virus as expected - the latest issue of Source indicating a third film in the series will be going into production around Easter. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: The diminutive "Willow" actor Warwick Davis appears to be in the Douglas Adams adaptation according to Fangoria. Walking Tall: The one-sheet for the Rock's small town revenge drama is now up at Rope of Silicon.
