In what will mark his first film since the 2002 release "Unfaithful," Adrian Lyne has committed to next direct "Two Minutes to Midnight," a Sheldon Turner-scripted thriller for 20th Century Fox reports Variety.
Story is about a renowned divorce attorney whose wife has been kidnapped and will be killed unless he takes his own life at midnight. Lyne recently dropped out of a Warner Bros. drama about the tempestuous relationship between 1950s L.A. gangster Johnny Stompanato and actress Lana Turner, with Keanu Reeves and Catherine Zeta-Jones attached to star.
Picture is expected to begin production in the summer.
