Focus Features is developing two films for its international production slate. Martin McDonagh's story of a hitman, "In Bruges," marks his feature directorial debut. McDonagh won a best live-action short film Oscar on Sunday for "Six Shooter" reports Production Weekly.
Focus' other new project is "Naples '44," based on author Norman Lewis' autobiographical book "Naples '44: A World War II Diary of Occupied Italy," recounting his time as a British intelligence officer at the end of World War II in Italy. Ben Hopkins has written the adaptation of the best-seller.
