Anthony Hopkins vehicle "Papa", about the life of Ernest Hemingway, is not going to be made contrary to reports says the director.
Kiwi Roger Donaldson, who directed Hopkins in "The Bounty" and the just released "The World's Fastest Indian", told Teletext: "That story is wrong, it won't happen. There were too many problems with the rights and the financing, and the schedules mean it won't happen".
Anthony Hopkins and director Roger Donaldson will make a third film together despite the Kiwi's insistence that he would "never work with Hopkins again" after making "The Bounty". "At the time you say these things, but time heals. I enjoyed making Indian and I would love to work with Tony again" says Donaldson.
