Christopher Walken and Eva Mendes are set to join Joaquin Phoenix and Mark Wahlberg in "We Own the Night," the 2929 Prods.-financed drama written and to be directed by James Gray reports Variety.
Walken will play the patriarch of a cop family. While one son followed in his footsteps, the other is the black sheep who's become manager of a club controlled by the Russian mob. Mendes will play the love interest of the manager, who is caught up in the nightclub world.
Production begins in March in New York.
