The two key player's in next month's "Van Helsing" have begun the publicity rounds for their films and both have begun commenting on what their future plans are - plans which will greatly depend upon the success of the Universal monster feature opening in May.
IGN Filmforce reports that they've received confirmation from the Sommers Company (writer-director Stephen Sommers' production company), that he is involved with
Universal's big-screen revival of "Flash Gordon". Sommers has been a rumored contender to helm the project for several months now and although he has not yet decided
whether he will write and direct it, he is almost certainly going to produce. Sommers' reps at the William Morris deny his involvement.
Meanwhile MI6 reports that the source of all that talk of Hugh Jackman as the next James Bond has been found - the man himself. Jackman told fans in California this week that "I started the rumor, I mean, who wouldn't want to play James Bond". The rumours hit their peek earlier this year, despite Hugh's agent confirming that "Hugh has never officially been approached to play the role of James Bond".
