'Lion, Witch & Wardrobe' helmer Andrew Adamson is set to return to the director's chair again having just signed a $10+ million deal to helm "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" according to the trades today.
Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media are moving ahead with the sequel with the principal cast all coming back, no surprise considering the first film has so far earned $637.8 million worldwide. Production is scheduled to begin this year with an eye toward a Christmas 2007 release.
In "Caspian", the four Pevensie siblings are pulled back into the land of Narnia, where many centuries have passed since they left. The colorful creatures of Narnia have been driven away by the evil king Miraz and they must help restore rightful young heir Prince Caspian (Miraz's nephew) to the throne.
