Bettany, Ford & Story On Sequels

This weekend a bunch of press junkets happened in Los Angeles, most notably ones for "Firewall" and "The Pink Panther". Cast members from the films were talking about a variety of things and questions came up about their future work. Here's what they had to say to Latino Review:

Indiana Jones IV Harrison Ford says "I can't tell you anything about 'Indiana Jones,' but I think you've just seen a film in which I perform physically to an extent [that will be] sufficient for 'Indiana Jones'. The audience is there, everybody involved is anxious to make the film again".

Batman Begins 2 Paul Bettany was asked about those rumors of him being up for the role of The Joker. "Yeah I heard nothing about it except through people saying 'Are you in the Batman sequel? Am I?' No ones called me. I thought it was an extraordinary well made film (the first one) so I would be open to fraud negotiations (laughs). I simply haven't a clue because it also depends when these things happen - they have to fall evenly for me now" he says, referring there at the end to taking a year off to spend time with his kids and wife Jennifer Connelly. Would he be open to the idea? "All work interests me, I'm absolutely open to everything".

Fantastic Four 2 Will Dr. Doom be back? Director Tim Story says "Yes that I can tell you. He will be back in full DOOM, not like we had him in the first film". Shooting begins August 1st in Vancouver, and actress Kerry Washington will have a larger role in the sequel as her father is the main villain - The Puppetmaster.
