Coming Soon reports that Warner Bros. Pictures and Imagine Entertainment have announced that they'll not go forward with plans to make the firefighting drama "3000 Degrees" based on the story of an inferno at a century-old storage building in Worcester, Massachusettes in December 1999.
The studio said in a press release this morning that "the process of making a film of this size and scope is complex and demanding, and requires the support and participation of many groups, including various firefighting organizations and a number of individuals.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we no longer have such support. We have therefore decided not to move ahead with this project at this time."
Ed Harris, Woody Harrelson and Bill Crudup were set to star in the fact-based drama that would've been directed by Danny Boyle ("28 Days Later").
