If there's one distinctive thing I learned about staying in Hollywood recently its the blond surfie smiling mug of "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest is everywhere - billboards, posters, electronic signs, my bedroom. Well now the UK "Pop Idol" hosts look set to break into the one arena that Ryan has yet to really reach - movies.
The Sun reports that Ant & Dec are set to star on the big screen for the first time (not including their "Love Actually" cameos), having landed the lead roles in a romantic comedy called "The Truth About Guys" for Granada.
An insider says "Ant and Dec are the most popular faces on TV at the moment. Both have made it clear they'd love to star in a movie if the scripts are right. Producers are now looking at actresses to play opposite the lads. It'll be a romantic comedy with a slight laddish Men Behaving Badly-style element".
