Latino Review has taken a look at the third and final Bourne script "The Bourne Ultimatum" by scribe Tony Gilroy who wrote all the Bourne films loosely based on the novels by Robert Ludlum, and received a cool $2 million to write this installment:
"Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) is on the run again trying to really find out just who the hell he REALLY is. And we finally do find out. We find out where Jason was born, what year, his real mother, his early training, his military past before Treadstone, his gifts, and even his real name.
Noah Vosen is the government bad guy who is after Jason and wants him dead. He enlists the help of Pam Landy (Joan Allen's character from 'Supremacy') to quarterback the search effort and gives her the call to adventure to help him find Bourne.
We get the whole history of Treadstone and some mind control stuff, which pays off later in the third act. Landy later thinks that Bourne isn't running away but he is running towards something. Vosen enlists the last three soldiers of the Treadstone project to help take down Bourne.
Ultimatum like the first two films is a globe trotting adventure that takes place in Tangier, London, Amsterdam, Paris, Madrid, Gibraltar to name a few. The third act and movie climaxes in New York City. The action and fight scenes like previously written in the other Bourne films is on point here"
