Me Before You
Sam Claflin ("The Hunger Games: Catching Fire") and Emilia Clarke ("Game of Thrones") are in negotiations to star in the Thea Sharrock-directed "Me Before You" at MGM, New Line and Warner Bros. Pictures. Scott Neustadter & Michael H. Weber ("500 Days Of Summer") penned the most recent draft, and an August 2015 release is planned.

An adaptation of the Jojo Moyes best-selling novel, Clarke plays a small-town girl caught between dead-end jobs. Claflin plays an always successful man who finds himself wheelchair-bound and suicidal after an accident. He hires her as his caretaker for six months, and she becomes determined to prove to him life is worth living. [Source: Deadline]

Hail Caesar
Alden Ehrenreich ("Beautiful Creatures," "Blue Jasmine") is in talks to join the cast of the Coen Brothers' latest dramedy "Hail Caesar!" for Universal and Working Title Films.

The story follows a Hollywood fixer in the 1950s who is working to keep a studio’s stars in line. Josh Brolin, George Clooney, Channing Tatum, Jonah Hill and Scarlett Johansson co-star. [Source: Variety]

The Politician
Vince Vaughn is attached to star in the Seth Rogen-produced, Michael Dowse-directed comedy "The Politician" for Sony Pictures. Evan Goldberg, James Weaver and Mark Gordon will also produce.

Matthew Bass and Theodore Bressman's 2013 Black list script centers on a Washington D.C. politician who becomes ensnared in a controversial scandal involving prostitutes. He is forced to go on the run with his "underachieving accomplice" to elude the authorities and a group of vicious drug dealers. [Source: ]

Avouterie
Sean Faris ("Pretty Little Liars") and Mehcad Brooks ("Necessary Roughness") will star in the indie thriller "Avouterie". The true story tale takes place over one day and is set in New Orleans during a stifling heat wave. Filming is currently underway in Los Angeles.

Faris plays a man who returns home to find his wife (Danielle Savre) cheating on him on their anniversary. He holds her and her naked and humiliated lover (Brooks) captive at gunpoint while he decides whether or not he's going to kill them. [Source: THR]
