The most notable absentee from "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" may be hopping onboard for the next entry.
Actor Jeremy Renner, who played S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Hawkeye in "The Avengers" and the upcoming sequel, says that he may be joining the third "Captain America" film as well.
The actor tells Collider: "There are rumblings of Captain America 3. I don't know what's going to happen there. I've got to find the time, man (laughs). I'm trying to stay home and I can't."
Where the characters will end up by the end of "Avengers: Age of Ultron" will probably better reveal how Hawkeye could fit into the next "Captain America" stand-alone storyline. If he does, how much reduced time will Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Falcon (Anthony Mackie) get?
