We've known for a while that some filming on Zack Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will take place in Washington DC. Now, a source for Batman News has spilled some details regarding the shoot, turns out the nation's capital will play a role in the film:
"A major action scene was shot in July in one of the big studios in Detroit. Without giving too much away… it involves Superman and the United States Capitol building in Washington D.C.
Superman will have to answer for what happened at the end of Man of Steel. Half the public blames him for all the death and destruction. If it wasn't for Superman being there, General Zod would have never come to Earth."
With scenes for the new film to be set in the fictional Gotham and Metropolis amongst other locations, it certainly sounds like the new film gets around.
In related news, today marks the official one year anniversary of the news that Ben Affleck will play Batman in the upcoming film (see that story). Has your opinion changed over the twelve months since the word broke? Have your say in the comments below.
