Will Smith and director Jonathan Mostow have committed to "Tonight, He Comes" which Sony Pictures is lining up for a production start in Los Angeles by Summer reports Variety.

Vince Gilligan rewrote Vincent Ngo's script in which Smith will play a disaffected and underappreciated superhero in a mid-life crisis. Akiva Goldsman and Michael Mann will produce. Mostow has just been signed to a holding deal while the budget is mapped out.

Mann was previously attached to direct, but instead opted to helm "Miami Vice". Smith just completed starring in Sony's "The Pursuit of Happyness". Mostow will push back two projects: "Swiss Family Robinson" and "Terminator 4" to work on this.
