Relativity Media has announced pre-production has begun on a sequel to the Pierce Brosnan-led action thriller "The November Man". The news comes as the first film is scheduled to open next week in the United States.
That film has Brosnan as Peter Devereaux, a highly trained ex-CIA agent enjoying a quiet life in Switzerland. Lured out of retirement, he must protect a valuable witness (Olga Kurylenko) from his former protege (Luke Bracey) who has made him a target.
Relativity President of Production Robbie Brenner says: "The November Man is a gritty series that re-invents the spy genre with its master Pierce Brosnan by combining the best elements of James Bond and Jason Bourne while echoing the cool, sleek action movies of the 70s. We are excited to launch The November Man later this month and to continue to explore Peter Devereaux's dangerous world with Pierce over the years to come."
