Ra's Al Ghul In "Arrow" Character Details

A poster on Reddit has apparently dropped a character breakdown for iconic DC villain Ra's al Ghul in the upcoming new season of The CW's "Arrow". The casting breakdown is said to have come from the upcoming fourth episode of the new season, 'The Magician,' and discusses the show's take on the character.

Name dropped numerous times during the second season, Ra's al Ghul is expected to serve as the main villain of the upcoming third season following in the tracks of previous 'Big Bads' like Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) and Deathstroke (Manu Bennett). Here's the description:

"Ra's al Ghul. Male, 40s-50s. Open ethnicity. Accent preferred. An iconic villain from the pages of DC Comics. Leader of the League of Assassins. Regal, mysterious, and of a bygone era. Proud and unforgiving. Ra's is a ruthless strategist, a master of martial arts, and a shaper of history. He carries the wisdom of the ages, and protects some of its greatest secrets. Think the character of Bane from The Dark Knight Rises. Someone terrifying. Not a lunkhead, but a smart and physically imposing man. Major recurring guest star."

The episode will mark the show's 50th, which makes a brief first reveal of Ra's al Ghul in the series an interesting possibility.
