WWE star Dean Ambrose (aka. Jonathan Good) is set to top line Stephen Reynolds' action thriller "Lockdown" for WWE Studios and Lionsgate. Filming begins this month.
The story follows a police officer who finds himself trapped inside his own precinct and hunted after crooked cops stop at nothing to recover incriminating evidence of illegal activities against those closest to him. [Source: Variety]
Malin Akerman ("Watchmen") will join Dan Stevens ("The Guest") in Ido Fluk's indie drama "The Ticket". Stevens plays a blind man who suddenly regains his vision only to be 'blinded' by his obsession with the superficial.

Sea of Trees
Katie Aselton ("The League") has joined the cast of Gus van Sant's indie drama "Sea of Trees". Asleton will play a woman who has an affair with Matthew McConaughey's character.
McConaughey and Ken Watanabe play two men who meet in Japan's infamous "Suicide Forest," where people go to commit suicide. But instead of killing themselves, the duo embark on a reflective journey through the forest together. [Source: THR]
Ty Simpkins ("Iron Man 3," "Jurassic World") has joined Reed Morano's psychological drama "Meadowland". Olivia Wilde and Luke Wilson play a New York City couple who are dealing with the crisis of their son's disappearance.
Simpkins will play Adam, a special-needs child who often gets in trouble at school, where Sarah is a teacher. Elizabeth Moss also stars. [Source: Deadline]
