Paramount Pictures has unveiled the third trailer for Christopher Nolan's "Interstellar" which continues the first two trailer's mix of two often very disparate genres - pure science fiction and Mid-West American family drama.
Nolan's signature cool approach and skill with intelligent and ambitious concepts makes him a natural for the sci-fi components of the film which look suitably epic and grand, as does the scenes dealing with Earth's dwindling resources.
The question is, even with such great talent like Chastain and McConaughey, can he pull off those Spielberg-style emotional 'home on the farm' scenes with the kids? Will they ground the larger concepts of the film to make them more emotionally resonant, or will they come off a little awkward? Here's hoping it's the former:
