Actress Skye McCole Bartusiak died on Saturday at the all too young age of 21. A cause of death is unknown at this time, but she reportedly died in her sleep at her Texas home.
As a child actor, Bartusiak appeared in several films including "The Cider House Rules" and "Don't Say a Word". Her most iconic moment though was as the youngest daughter of Mel Gibson's character in "The Patriot" who, after deliberately not speaking for much of the film, runs to her father in tears begging him not to leave.
Since then she's starred on various TV shows including "Lost," "House" and "24". She recently produced and starred in several short films.
