Appearing in Switzerland over the weekend, filmmaker Kevin Smith has offered some brief updates on his upcoming film projects.
First up there's "Yoga-Hosers" due to shoot later in the year, essentially a spin-off of two characters in his upcoming Canadian backwoods-set indie body-horror feature "Tusk" opening this Fall. Like that film, the idea for this also came out of a podcast.
Smith says: "There are two characters in a convenience store in Tusk that you see for five minutes, very much Ronsencrantz and Guildenstern. I've built a whole movie around them and I have brought one of the other characters from Tusk back."
After that comes "Anti-Claus," his "Creepshow-like horror anthology" about the Krampus legend (evil Santa Claus). Then he's hoping to finally shoot "Clerks 3".
