Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
Sledgehammer Games has adamantly said that the footage seen in the E3 reel for "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" will NOT be downgraded, and "what you see is what you get" on the Xbox One.
The company's co-founder Michael Condrey adds: "We've always had a commitment to delivering at target . We're not a studio that's just going to go out and show off some flash in the pan, high-end PC demo that we're never going to be able to put on a console." [Source: Total Xbox]
Mass Effect 4
Latest talk on the much anticipated sequel indicate the next entry in the series will be next gen console only (no PS3/360 version), and will run on the Frostbite 3 Engine. Though it will be the same type of game as the previous three, it's tipped this one "takes place in an entirely new region of space" which allows it to avoid the continuity issues with the Commander Shepard trilogy. No Man's Sky
Though you think it would be a definite, Hello Games managing director Sean Murray says there's no plans for a PC version at the moment of the ambitious open world title "No Man's Sky," though the studio personnel are keen on doing one. At first, and at least for the foreseeable future though, it will only be available on PS4. [Source: Escapist Magazine]
343 Industries, the studio developing the upcoming "Halo 5: Guardians," is reportedly seeking a senior producer to develop "a new project line in the Halo universe". The job requires the producer to "ensure the game hits the quality expected of a title within the Halo Franchise".
This has led to speculation that the game franchise will receive an Xbox One-based spin-off ala "Halo: Reach" or "Halo: ODST," though the wording hints that it will be the launch of a potential spin-off series rather than a 'Reach'-style one-off. [Source: All Games Beta]
PlayStation 3 owners can now use the PS4's DualShock 4 controller wirelessly with their PS3. The fix arrives as part of the PS3 firmware update V4.6 and you can check out how to add the controller by watching the video below.
There's two issues though. The first is the PS3 sees the DualShock 4 as a generic controller, and thus elements of the PS3 controller won't work with your game like SIXAXIS controls or the touchpad. That means some games will have compatibility problems.
The other is that DualShock 4 can only sync with one device at a time, so its better to use a different controller for your PS3 than the one you use with your PS4. [Source: TIME]
Far Cry 4
Ubisoft has released the second trailer for the upcoming "Far Cry 4," this one a blend of moments from the E3 gameplay clips along with a couple of new bits including some fresh enemy takedown action and more of the elephant environmental destruction many have been talking about since the E3 reveal.
