Following on from a shot of Henry Cavill in his Clark Kent wardrobe the other day, USA Today has unveiled the official first look photo at Cavill in his freshly tweaked Superman outfit in Zack Snyder's upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".
There's some distinct changes. The black fins on the wrists and torso are now the same blue as the outfit, with said blue seemingly less muted this time out. The belt buckle has been reshaped slightly, and the red seems more muted (but so does every color in the photo but the blue).
Currently filming in Detroit, Snyder also spoke with the paper about the film and answered a couple of lingering questions. Most notably the use of 'v' rather than 'vs.' in the film's title, which he explains is a way "to keep it from being a straight 'versus' movie, even in the most subtle way."
With Batman's mythology so well known, the use of him here allowed Snyder to jump ahead to a Dark Knight hit by age and rough experience - "it's cooler to see a crusty old Batman beating the snot out of guys."
Finally he confirms they've only done a few scenes so far with Cavill and Affleck together. They also haven't filmed any scenes with Gal Gadot in her Wonder Woman outfit yet, but "she's working out and getting buff and ripped."
