"Hunger Games" duo Liam Hemsworth and Woody Harrelson are teaming for Kieran Darcy-Smith's revenge action thriller "By Way Of Helena". Matt Cook penned the script and filming begins in September.

Hemsworth will play an 1880s Texas Ranger sent to an isolated frontier town to investigate a series of mysterious murders. There he squares off against a local preacher (Harrelson) who holds the townsfolk in a fearful grip. [Source: Deadline]

Ride Along 2
Olivia Munn ("Deliver Us From Evil," "Magic Mike") is in talks to join Kevin Hart and Ice Cube in the Tim Story-directed comedy sequel "Ride Along 2" for Universal Pictures.

Munn will play a tough Miami homicide detective who is a love interest for Cube's Atlanta cop character. Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi wrote the script and the film is targeting a January 2016 release. [Source: THR]

The Nest
Wrestling superstar John Cena has joined the cast of the Tina Fey and Amy Poehler-led comedy "The Nest" for Universal Pictures. Jason Moore directs the film which also stars James Brolin, Ike Barinholtz, Maya Rudolph and John Leguizamo.

The story follows two sisters who throw one last party in their parents' soon-to-be-sold house. Cena is tipped to play his first villain role in the film, a change after more than a decade of playing an action hero in various films. [Source: Deadline]

The Revenant
Tom Hardy is confirmed to be starring alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's "The Revenant" for New Regency. Hardy has been linked for several weeks now.

The 19th century-set story follows a fur trapper who hatches a revenge plot after he is robbed in the aftermath of a bear attack. Filming begins in late September. [Source: Screen]

Arrow
Devon Aoki ("Sin City") has joined the cast of the third season of The CW's "Arrow". Aoki plays Tatsu Yamashiro (aka Katana), a blade-wielding martial arts expert and the wife of Oliver Queen's Hong Kong-based teacher and handler Toshi.

The character will be seen in flashbacks, along with her husband, and will play a key role in Oliver's journey to becoming the Arrow. It's unknown if her character will also appear in the present-day Starling City scenes. [Source: TV Line]
