Katie Holmes' Next: Katie Holmes is to quit acting to become a full-time mother reports Ananova. Holmes is expecting her first child with fiance Tom Cruise early next year. A source said: "Katie has decided to give up acting altogether. She's been telling friends that she and Tom have decided it is best she stays at home and brings up their new baby. Her decision is raising a lot of eyebrows in Hollywood. She is at the perfect age for so many screen roles and has completely closed the door on a promising career".

Spiral: Adam Green ("Hatchet") has told FDM that his next film will be a thriller entitled "Spiral" which he will co-direct with Joel Moore. Moore ("Dodgeball"), Amber Tamblyn ("Joan of Arcadia"), and Zachary Levi ("Less Than Perfect") star in the story of a reclusive artist finds new life in the eyes of his latest subject, but the past that haunts him may come to haunt her as well. Moore co-wrote the script with Jeremy Danial.

The Sub-Mariner: Chris Columbus tells Coming Soon that he's no longer planning to do this comic adaptation.

Superman Returns: Reshoots wrapped at 1:45pm of the morning of Tuesday November 15th. Second unit will continue on until the end of the month. The trailer is set to debut over satellite networks (and online shortly after) this Thursday and on this week's episode of "Smallville" which airs at 8pm EST.
