New details have reportedly emerged regarding Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor character in Zack Snyder's upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" which is currently filming in Detroit.
Seems that Eisenberg is not going bald for the film, at least not at first. The evil head of LexCorp will sport surfer-style long, straight dirty blond hair. Batman-News says:
"It's not Eisenberg's typical curly look - it's a bit longer, kind of loose and wavy, and it's dirty blonde. Eisenberg's Luthor has spastic mannerisms, like a twenty-something guy that pounds energy drinks all day."
A source for ComicBook.Com has more details on his personality:
"You are going to hate this guy. You are going to root for him to be punched by Supes when he weasels his way out of legal trouble. He is cocky and confident because he is THAT good at what he does. He's a billionaire who knows he is more powerful than the Senator and Congressman visiting because he's a billionaire. This is a high tech mega billion company with a shiny veneer. It's Apple/Google, colorful and consumer friendly public image but serious potential for Lex's deviousness."
Meanwhile, the LexCorp offices will feature a full basketball court in the lobby and a huge 30-foot neon sign displaying the company logo. An IMDB user claims to have witnessed filming of Lex's first scene:
"Lex has a super modern-hip Facebook/Google style office with a basketball court, pinball tables, etc. Everyone looks ultra douchey and has bowties and blazers, etc. Lex is introduced in which he takes a basketball shot, and in the same motion, after draining the shot, turns around and shakes a senator's hand, who is there to greet him. He looks like Kurt Cobain, and is a complete douche."
ComicBook.Com adds that the roles that actresses Holly Hunter and Tao Okamoto ("The Wolverine") are playing in the film have been revealed. Hunter will reportedly play a U.S. senator who pays a visit to LexCorp with a congressman.
Okamoto on the other hand will play a key role - Lex Luthor's assistant Mercy. Neither role has been confirmed by Warner Bros. at this time.
