Quentin Tarantino is reportedly teaming with comics writer Matt Wagner on a graphic novel that would see Jamie Foxx's titular hero from "Django Unchained" cross paths with swashbuckler Zorro.
According to Heat Vision, Tarantino will craft the concept and basic plot for the book with Wagner. Once that's cracked, Wagner will write the final script.
In an official statement, Tarantino says: "I'm very, very excited about both this story and the opportunity to work with Matt. It was reading his Zorro stories that convinced me what a good idea it was to join these two icons together. And the story idea we came up with is thrilling, and I think will be an exciting new chapter for both characters."
The comic is expected to be released later this year. Tarantino is currently working towards getting a film adaptation of his quite different style of western "The Hateful Eight" into production around the end of the year.
