CineEurope, the European equivalent of the U.S. exhibitor convention Cinema Con, is underway in Barcelona this week. Paramount Pictures International SVP Edward Ryan used his company's presentation at the event to talk about the studio's aggressive plans release plans over the next few years.
The studio confirmed that next year sees the release of "Terminator: Genesis," "Mission Impossible 5," "Friday the 13th in 3D," "Hot Tub Time Machine 2," "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water," the remake of "The Gambler" with Mark Wahlberg, and the Michael Bay-produced "Project Almanac".
Then in 2016 they aim to release a fifth "Transformers," a fourth "Beverly Hills Cop," a third "Star Trek," a third "G.I. Joe," a "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters" sequel, another "Paranormal Activity," and the Timur Bekmambetov-directed remake of "Ben Hur".
