Warner Bros. Pictures is in the early stages of launching a reboot of the live-action "Scooby-Doo" franchise.
Raja Gosnall helmed the 2002 film based on the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon. That movie starred Freddie Prinze Jr, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Matthew Lillard, Linda Cardellini and Isla Fisher and went on to gross $268 million worldwide along with generating a 2004 sequel.
The studio is starting from scratch with the new version, with Randall Green hired to pen a new adventure. No-one else is attached at this time.
