John Cusack and Adrien Brody have joined Jackie Chan in Daniel Lee's $65 million Chinese-language film "Dragon Blade" which is currently targeting a February 2015 release across China.
The story is inspired by a mission legion of Roman soldiers who travelled to China in 48 BC. Cusack will play Roman general Lucius; Brody plays another Roman. Chan stars as the Commander of the Protectorate of the Western Regions who teams up with Lucius to protect China's borders and sovereignty. [Source: Screen]

Marcus Callender ("Elementary," "Blue Bloods") has been cast as Dr. Dre and Jason Mitchell ("Broken City," "Contraband") has landed the role of Eazy-E in the upcoming N.W.A biopic "Straight Outta Compton" at Universal Pictures.
Ice Cube's son O'Shea Jackson Jr. will play his father in the film which follows the lives of these gangsta rap pioneers. F. Gary Gray is attached to direct the project which will begin shooting in less than two months. [Source: THR]
