American Horror Story: Freak Show
Sarah Paulson has tweeted a photo of her character in the upcoming new season of "American Horror Story". Centering around a circus-style freak show, the actress will play Bette and Dot, a woman with two heads. [Source: Twitter]

Point of Honor
Amazon Studios and ABC Signature are finalizing a pilot order deal for "Point Of Honor," a Civil War event series from both "Lost" co-showrunner Carlton Cuse and "Secretariat" director Randall Wallace. Cuse and Wallace co-wrote the script, with Wallace set to direct.

The story follows a fictional family from Lynchburg, Virginia who find their lives and family fractured by the commencement of the Civil War. 'Honor' was set up at ABC several years back but never progressed. [Source: Deadline]

The Beatles
NBC is in early stages of development of an eight-episode event series about The Beatles. "The Tudors" creator/executive producer Michael Hirst is set to write and will executive produce alongside Ben Silverman and Teri Weinberg.

There have been very few attempts to tell the story of the quartet on screen, most recently 2009's "Nowhere Boy" and a recently in development project about Beatles manager Brian Epstein. [Source: Deadline]

Phineas and Ferb
The "Star Wars" special of Disney Channel's hit animated show "Phineas and Ferb" has been scheduled to premiere on July 26th at 9pm.

The animated special incorporates the plot from "Star Wars – Episode IV: A New Hope" and leaves Phineas and Ferb with the responsibility of saving the galaxy. [Source: Variety]
