Two months after Daniel Craig unexpectedly dropped out, Keanu Reeves has now taken over the lead role in "Frozen River" director Courtney Hunt's courtroom drama "The Whole Truth" at PalmStar Entertainment.
Reeves will play a defense attorney who fights to get his teenage client acquitted of murdering his wealthy father. Nicholas Kazan penned the script.
The previous supporting cast of Renee Zellweger, Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Belle), and Gabriel Basso ("Kings of Summer") are still in place
Filming is now slated to begin in July in New Orleans right after the Independence Day holiday weekend. Anthony Bregman and Kevin Frakes will produce.
