Having exited the sci-fi film "Brilliance," Will Smith has a hole in his schedule which everyone in Hollywood is keen to fill.
Deadline reports that one project the actor is considering aligning himself with is the Ridley Scott-produced football concussions project at Sony Pictures.
Currently titled "Game Brain," Peter Landesman is in talks to write and direct the drama which focuses on the debilitating effects that concussions are having on sports heroes, and the role league owners play in allowing these injuries to happen. Think Michael Mann's "The Insider" but for professional sports rather than the tobacco industry.
Meanwhile, Legendary has also reportedly gone after Chris Hemsworth to replace Smith on "Brilliance". The "Thor" star however can't do it due to his "The Avengers" sequel commitments.
