There's always a lot of colorful and often ridiculous rumors swirling around. This week is no different.
An unidentified insider tells British tabloid The Daily Star that "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson is reportedly Disney's top choice to replace Harrison Ford in the next "Indiana Jones" as the studio considers the future of the franchise:
"Disney is looking at its long-term options for the Indiana Jones franchise. They feel that the series has huge potential on many levels, starting with the films leading to other spin-offs like games which can generate more money than movies. Rob is top of the initial list because he has showed his acting stripes away from Twilight. But the competition will be stiff."
This unsubstantiated report follows several from earlier this year. The first was in February and suggested that Harrison Ford has signed on for two more "Indiana Jones" movies, that's still not confirmed.
Another came in March in which Bradley Cooper was reportedly being considered to star as the character in a potential reboot of the series. That was very quickly shot down, as this will likely be.
