Oscar winning "12 Years A Slave" star Lupita Nyong'o, and "Game of Thrones" actress Gwendoline Christie have both joined the cast of J.J. Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII".
Details on the pair's roles are unknown. Christie will likely film her scenes either before or during her time filming her regular role of Brienne of Tarth in the fifth season of 'Thrones' which begins production this Summer.

The pair join a cast that includes John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker.
