Crytek and Deep Silver have announced "Homefront: The Revolution," a sequel to the THQ game which will be available on PS4, XB1, PC, Mac and Linux in 2015. The new game harnesses the latest features of Crytek's CRYENGINE technology.
The story is set in a near future Philadelphia, a police state dystopia under the rule of brutal North Korean occupational forces. Players engage in guerrilla warfare against the oppressors.
Meanwhile, "Mortal Kombat" co-creator and NetherRealm Studios creative director Ed Boon has announced "Mortal Kombat X," the first game in the series made entirely for next-gen consoles and PCs.
