Hayden Christensen is busy waving his sabre around in the post-"Star Wars" world, showing that he has no plans to disappear now that the Lucas saga is over. Coming on top of news yesterday that this Toothy Tile candidate has been attached to the Samuel L. Jackson project "Poker Night", information has emerged today that he's linked with no less than three other flicks.
Christensen will topline the John McTiernan movie "Crash Bandits" about treasure seekers who target wrecked airplanes containing riches. Production is set to begin February 15th in Thailand.
He's also in negotiations to star in George Hickenlooper's drama "Factory Girl" in which Sienna Miller plays Edie Sedgwick, a '60s icon and one of Andy Warhol's muses. Guy Pearce is in negotations to play Andy Warhol and shooting is expected to begin next month in New York and Shreveport, Louisiana.
Finally, he's also negotiating to join Christina Ricci and Reese Witherspoon in the sub-$15 million budget "Penelope" which begins shooting in January in the UK under the helm of Mark Palansky. Leslie Caveny's script is the story of a young woman born with the face of a pig who must break a family curse and find true love in the process.
