"Raid" Remake Pushes Filming Until 2015

The start of production has been delayed on the upcoming Patrick Hughes-directed remake of Indonesian martial arts cult classic "The Raid".

Originally slated to begin shooting September, the production has now pushed back filming until "at least the first quarter of 2015". The film is still very much going forward though.

According to Variety, one possible reason for the delay is casting. Luke Evans, Anthony Mackie, Frank Grillo and Ethan Hawke are all rumored to be frontrunners for roles, but no offers are out and casting has yet to officially begin.
