Ridley Scott reportedly flew into Sydney, Australia on Wednesday morning to scout film locations for his next project "Prometheus 2" says The Daily Mail.
The follow-up to the much-debated about "Alien" pseudo-prequel is remaining under tight wraps with even its stars like Michael Fassbender having previously admitted that, even though the film is happening, they are all being kept in the dark regarding specifics other than sometime later this year.
The UK tabloid's source says "it's the best kept secret at the moment, that Ridley is here to film the Prometheus sequel...Staff have been pulled off productions on the Gold Coast and Melbourne to take meetings about it."
They add that Scott and various other professionals only became aware of the fact upon Scott's arrival on Wednesday when the filmmaker reportedly took a VIP tour of the Fox Studios lot which is currently housing the final weeks of filming on Alex Proyas' mythological blockbuster "Gods Of Egypt".
It has also been indicated that Scott is looking at a multi-picture agreement with Screen Australia which means that if "Prometheus 2" is to shoot there, so will his proposed "Blade Runner" sequel. Australian screen industry body AusFilm says they have "no comment on Ridley Scott currently being in Australia".
