Swedish production group Tre Vanner is moving along with an English-language of the hit Swedish crime trilogy "Easy Money" (aka. "Snabba Cash") after the rights reverted back to them from Warner Brothers. Screenwriters Josh Campbell and Matt Stuecken will pen the script for the remake.

Lars von Trier
Producer Peter Aalbaek Jensen says that controversial filmmaker Lars von Trier ("Melancholia," "Nymphomaniac") is talking about making a "Trier version of an action movie."
This comes on top of word the other day that von Trier is already at work on a horror script tentatively titled "Detroit". Sounds like the director is going borderline mainstream. [Source: Screen]

A photo has emerged of a note from J.J. Abrams to the cast and crew of the upcoming "Star Wars Episode VII". It's basically a bit of a motivational statement and a transcript can be seen below (via Screen Crush):
